What remains of the newspaper seems only to be a police bulletin [letter]

Like so many others, I am greatly disappointed that the LNP | LancasterOnline print edition I have read for 33 years is now gutted and almost useless, except, in my view, to line a cat box.

What's bothering me even more is the remaining content of the newspaper: It has become a combination of cute things about schoolchildren making art or winning at sports, and lurid headlines about sex crimes and violence.

For example, the Oct. 17 newspaper contained the headlines "Teen charged with firing gun in city," "Judge orders trial in indecent assault charges," "Area man sentenced to prison for stalking woman," "Charge: Soliciting porn from a minor," and "Landlord faces new rape charges."

Are you a newspaper or a police bulletin? Or is Lancaster County being overrun by sex offenders? Could you please print more good news? Or confine the rot to a single page, without splashing it throughout the skinny little newspaper?
