Back in 2017, the fastest man in the world retired. Seven years and an ad deal with Persil later, Usain Bolt has left track and field far behind — and yet no one has taken his crown. He's still the fastest man to run 100 metres. The likes of Noah Lyles, Kenny Bednarek and Fred Kerley might talk the talk but they've not quite run the run. As for the females in the field; well, Flo-Jo's somewhat contentious 1988 record still stands. That said, the formidable forces of Sha'Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson could very well be primed to topple that time in Paris this year.

If you're not an ardent track and field couch observer like myself, this is your chance to get to know the (very) large sprint personalities due to showboat in spectacular style at the Olympics later this summer. From the producers of Full Swing and F1: Drive to Survive (who else but) comes a documentary following the top sprinters throughout last year's World Championships.

The Man With 1000 Kids Netflix, streaming now

Not to be confused with the sickening machinations depicted in Netflix's Our Father, this three-part docuseries uncovers the jarring story of Dutch scammer/musician, Jonathan Jacob Meijer. It investigates the murky world of the fertility industry and uncovers how some fertility clinics continue to allow covert donations.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 Netflix, streaming now

After his daughter's life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pal Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) to uncover a conspiracy. Expect extra bacon in the form of Kevin.

Diamonds, portals and superpowers, oh my! Director Rapman wanted to showcase sci-fi via "the black experience". The result? This high-octane offering about five ordinary south Londoners who unexpectedly develop powers.

The Mole Netflix, streaming now

Season two continues with its usual weekly episode drops but sadly, Alex Wagner is no longer hosting (she's too busy trying to save democracy with her co-presenters over on MSNBC). Instead, US radio host Ari Shapiro will be taking over the reins of this reality show that rewards deceit over everything else, a la The Traitors.

Fancy Dance AppleTV+, streaming now

Starring Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone, Fancy Dance charts her character Jax's story on a Native American reserve. Reeling from the disappearance of her sister, Jax commits to looking after her niece — until the feds get involved.

Owning Manhattan Netflix, streaming now

When you and your co-workers are invited to sell the world's most expensive apartment, bagging yourself a potential $10m commission, you can bet the workplace knives come out. "World famous broker and CEO" Ryan Serhant presides over this real-estate company/insecure sorority.

A Family Affair Netflix, streaming now

Spare a thought for Joey King's Zara, who walks in on her mother, Nicole Kidman, in the throes of desire with her boss, Zac Efron. This multigenerational, coming-of-age romcom also stars Kathy Bates. For something slightly different but just as loin girding, Prime Video recently released My Lady Jane.
