What will the weather be like in central Pa. on Thanksgiving?

B.James3 months ago
The weekend and start of the week in the Harrisburg area are forecast to be cold and clear, but rain is expected before Thanksgiving.

After scattered showers on Friday, skies cleared Saturday morning in time for the 10 a.m. Harrisburg Holiday Parade . No rain is expected Saturday, which will be partly sunny with highs in the 50s and lows in the mid-30s.

Sunday will look much the same, Accuweather says, but slightly colder. The temperature at night is supposed to dip to 30.

Some kids and grownups have a short work week, and those days will feel more like late fall and early winter than the region has seen. Daytime highs will be in the 40s.

Rain is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday — Thanksgiving — looks like it’ll be cold and chilly, with a slight chance of rain.

Here’s the forecast through the holiday:

  • Sunday: High 56, low 30, partly sunny

  • Monday: High 46, low 31, partly cloudy

  • Tuesday: High 46, low 42, rain

  • Wednesday: High 53, low 32, morning rain

  • Thanksgiving: High 49, low 30, cloudy
