What’s that? Ann Arbor flower shop opens second location on west side

n Ann Arbor flower shop is now bringing its bouquets to a second location right outside of the city.

University Flower Shop recently opened a new design studio and retail location at 212 South Wagner Road as a way to cater to the westside of Ann Arbor along with other clients in Dexter, Chelsea and Saline, said co-owner Dani Vignos.

The business will continue to run 7 Nickels Arcade in downtown Ann Arbor. University Flower Shop was established in 1931 and has become known for its custom floral arrangements it makes for all occasions.

The flower shop's new location is where the business will do all of its event production and daily delivery orders. Walk-up customers looking for flowers are also welcome in the space.

Vignos said the location's back space will be used as a consultation area for wedding and events and will welcome clients to discuss plans and floral mockups. University Flower Shop is also hoping to host workshops in the future and have a cutting garden full of flowers to include in arrangements, she added.

Both University Flower Shop locations are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Learn more about the new location online , on social media or by phone at 734-665-6037.
