  • Where does Ravens coach John Harbaugh rank on our list of the 40 Most Influential People in Cleveland Sports?
  • Where does Michigan's Sherrone Moore rank on our list of the 40 Most Influential People in Cleveland Sports?
  • Which 40 people most control Cleveland's sports happiness?
  • Steelers star T.J. Watt ranks 38th on our 40 Most Influential list because every sack he records is compared to Browns star Myles Garrett. Every game he swings for Pittsburgh hurts Cleveland in the standings. And because – gulp – every snap he plays against the Browns could spell trouble for Cleveland's starting quarterback.

  • Here's how we determined our list .
  • If Deshaun Watson is Cleveland's football heartbeat, then T.J. Watt is the stressor who pushes the city's pulse past comfortable limits twice a season. When Watt bolts off the line of scrimmage and swims or spins past a tackle, Browns fans hold their breath. The Steelers' pass rusher has a knack for hitting quarterbacks and causing turnovers, as he did against Watson during last year's Week 2 win over the Browns. Even worse: Every time he does it, Steelers fans remind Cleveland that Watt does it better and more often than Garrett.

Watt has forced 10 more fumbles (27 to 17) and recorded seven more interceptions (seven to zero) than Garrett during their careers, as you've probably heard before. Never mind that Garrett and Watt are tied for most All-Pro selections (five) and Defensive Player of the Year awards (one). Pittsburgh's guy is better, according to Steelers fans, which, from the Dawg Pound's perspective, makes him the worst.
