After spending nearly five years at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he played college tennis, Jacob Fearnley recently graduated with team success in the NCAA National Championships. Alongside receiving a wildcard entry into the main draw of Wimbledon, he also won his maiden title on the ATP Challenger Tour in Nottingham. His girlfriend, Keagan Polk, an athlete from TCU, has witnessed his incredible rise firsthand.

Keagan Polk, daughter of Chris and Jennifer Polk, grew up in Dallas Fort Worth, and is a fan of the Cowboys and Mavericks. She graduated from Southlake Carroll High School and recently from TCU, where she studied Finance and Accounting at the Neeley School of Business. Involved in multiple sports within collegiate athletics, she also served as a captain for TCU's beach volleyball team and was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Texas Christian University has played a major role in shaping both their careers and also brought Jacob Fearnley and Keagan Polk together. The university holds a special place in their hearts. Recently, as she signed off from TCU, Polk shared a heartfelt note on her LinkedIn account, thanking the university for the incredible experience of collegiate athletics.

Fearnley also expressed his gratitude towards TCU, saying, "I think college helped me a lot. TCU was the best decision I ever made. I learned so much from being there. I got the opportunity to be coached by, I think, two of the best coaches in the world." Jacob Fearnley's journey hasn't been easy, and many have supported him through thick and thin.

"They were huge" – Jacob Fearnley reflecting his thoughts on his pillars of Fearnley's tennis journey began in Scotland, where he grew up with his mother, Samantha. She would wake up early to work as an HR manager at the National Health Service to support him. Initially, Fearnley struggled with a lack of confidence and persistent injuries. His family stood by him throughout. Reflecting on his mother's support, he said, "My mom obviously has made a huge impact on me just supporting me, believing in me more than anyone. I'm super grateful for her."

Even his grandparents played a huge role in his journey, introducing him to tennis when he was young. "They were huge, my biggest supporters," said the 22-year-old Brit. His father couldn't hold back his emotions upon hearing that his son had made it to the main draw at Wimbledon this year. Fearnley said he initially didn't believe it. Additionally, his coaches at TCU provided immense support during his stay. Jacob Fearnley feels lucky to have had such strong support when he needed it most.
