Whitney Leavitt alongside her cast members of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives have taken to creating videos on social media which has caused them to rise to fame.

Born on May 12, 1993, Whitney is one of eight #MomTok influencers from Utah who have appeared on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Whitney married her husband, Conor Leavitt, in 2016 and the pair have since welcomed two children to the world.

As well as their daughter, Sedona, and a son, Liam, Whitney is expecting a child, as of September 2024.

In December 2021, Whitney went viral, receiving backlash after she was videoed dancing next to her son's hospital bed.

He had just been diagnosed with RSV and had been admitted to hospital for the common respiratory illness.

She subsequently took the video down and acknowledged that it was a "mistake" for "not giving enough context of the situation".

Who is Whitney Leavitt's husband?

That was not the only time Whitney was entwined in scandal.

Whitney and Conor got married in August 2016 but since then their relationship has been in the public eye.

In 2022, Conor admitted to having a presence on Tinder , behind his wife's back.

The episode which revealed all, shocked viewers further as they discovered Conor had also been struggling with a secret porn addiction.

Whilst the pair haven't publicly acknowledged the escalating rumours outside of the show, as of September 2024, Whitney posted on her Instagram to reveal a family photo.

She captioned it: "last family photos with just us 4, we can not wait to meet you next month bb."

She was part of the original cast when the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives first aired.

What is The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show?

Hulu's exclusive eight-part series focusses on the lives of a group of women and friends who are all part of the Mormon religion, otherwise known as members of the church of the Latter-day Saints.

After Taylor Frankie Paul exposed a "soft swinging" scandal, viewers have been desperate to know more.

Whilst Whitney has admitted she was not involved in that aspect of the group's close relations, she is still part of the self-credited original creators of #MomTok.

What is #MomTok?

In 2020, the group of Mormon women began creating and posting on TikTok.

They all have separate accounts meaning that there has been reams of content for fans to scroll through as most of the content creators share group videos, solo content and sometimes include their children and husbands.

Other big names that you may recognise from the trend are Taylor Frankie Paul, Camille Munday and Miranda McWhorter who have even joked that the three of them together are "sister wives".

The cast of the series extended to include Mikayla Matthews, Layla Taylor, Jen Affleck , Mayci Neeley , Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura and of course Whitney Leavitt.

After the swinging scandal, Taylor admitted that she has gone "all the way" with one of the group's members but that it only happened once.

She seems to have been "shunned" from the friendship group ever since, proclaiming that the "majority" of MomTok were not involved.

Is Whitney still part of MomTok?

In the dramatic finale of the series, Whitney admits that she had decided to step away from MomTok so that she can focus on her family.

She also suggested that she wanted to have more time to spend on her personal well-being.

With her due date for her third child in October 2024, it is perhaps no surprise that she has made this decision.

Since then, other members of the MomTok group have addressed her departure on Nick Viall's podcast, where they suggested they were disappointed about her lack of consistency in the group but did not hate her.
