Why Diddy's Son's Instagram Post Has People Disappointed
The children of Sean "Diddy" Combs continue to support the disgraced rapper and producer.
As Diddy, 55, continues to sit in a Brooklyn jail facility on multiple charges of sex crimes and racketeering, his team and his family have been managing his social media pages. Most recently, Diddy's son, Christian "King" Combs took to Diddy's Instagram on his 55th birthday on Monday, November 4, to share plans for Diddy's social handles.
"What's up, y'all? It's King Combs. And right now, I'm taking over my pop's Instagram," said the 26-year-old. "We gonna be posting videos while spreading, you know, good energy and taking y'all down memory lane, of all the positive things he did. So, stay tuned and watch this. Let's go! We love you, pops. Happy Birthday."
As one could imagine, many found the video to be in poor taste.
"Maybe it's just lay low time," said one commenter.
Another noted that now is not the time to look back on "All the positive things he did."
Diddy was jailed on charges of sexual assault, racketeering, and traveling to engage in prostitution back in September. In April, King was named in a lawsuit by a woman who worked on a yacht, claiming that King had drugged and sexually assaulted her while hosting a party.
One person noted in the comments noted that King is "talkin like [his] dad and not in a good way."
King is one of Diddy's seven children. He shared King, Justin, 30. D'Lila and Jessie Combs, 17 with his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, who mothered Quincy, 33, with singer Al B. Sure. Diddy is also the father to Chance,18, who he shares with Sarah Chapman, and Love, 1, who he shares with model Dana Tran.
