Why flags will be at half-staff in Arkansas on Monday
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on Monday.
Sanders says flags will be at half-staff to commemorate those killed during the October 7, 2023 attack in Israel.
"This was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust," Sanders said in a statement on Friday, "and in the year since, Israel has fought to bring the hostages home and eliminate the terrorists who orchestrated this attack."
