The Ada County Highway District reminds candidates and residents that all political campaign signs must be removed from the public right of way within 48 hours following Election Day.
According to ACHD's temporary sign placement ordinance , campaign signs should be taken down by the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Each campaign is responsible for removing its signs from ACHD's right of way.
ACHD will remove signs reported to be in conflict with the district's temporary sign policy, according to a press release. Collected signs will be taken to the Ada County Highway District Headquarters in Garden City, where owners can retrieve them. A fee may apply for removal, the press release said.
