Winston-Salem man wins $100,000 after buying scratch-off at convenience store
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Howell Lewis Jr., of Winston-Salem, bought a $50 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
Lewis bought his winning $10 Million Spectacular ticket from the KP Food Mart on Old Thomasville Road in Winston-Salem.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to claim his prize.
After required federal and state tax withholdings, he took home $71,514.
