Winter-like temperatures across Tampa Bay

N.Nguyen39 min ago

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – There is a blast of cooler air across the Tampa Bay area. Highs only reach the mid-upper 70s today despite lots of sunshine. A cool breeze continues all day as well.

These temperatures are closer to how it feels in December rather than mid-October.

One more chilly night expected tonight. Temperatures fall quickly after sunset, and lows will be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

After the cool start to Friday, it heats up fast. Highs reach the low 80s. The warm-up continues from there. We are back in the mid 80s for the weekend.

It stays dry and breezy through the rest of the week. Just a spotty shower or two possible early next week, but rainy season has officially ended.

The two tropical waves we've been watching have lower chances to develop, and neither look to pose any threat to Florida.
