A.Davis20 hr ago

The Nevada Men's Basketball program and Head Coach Steve Alford have announced the Wolf Pack's 2024-25 schedule.

While non-conference dates are set, the dates for the Wolf Pack's Mountain West slate are subject to change once the conference's TV broadcast schedule is announced.

Tip times for all of Nevada's home games, and road conference matchups, will be set once the TV schedule is made public.

In non-conference action, the Pack will play an 11-game slate, highlighted by seven home games, and a trip to South Carolina to participate in the 2024 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic.

The Pack opens the 2024 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Nov. 21 against Vanderbilt, with the eight-team field also including top teams as Drake, Florida Atlantic, Miami, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, and VCU.

Nevada has been exceptional in multi-team events under Alford, most recently winning the 2023 Diamond Head Classic after defeating Temple, TCU, and Georgia Tech en route to securing the tournament title.

Overall, the Pack has compiled a record of 14-2 and won four championships in MTEs under Alford's watch.

For the first time, the Mountain West will play a 20-game, true double round-robin schedule in 2024-25. The Wolf Pack is scheduled to begin its conference trek at Lawlor Dec. 21, hosting Colorado State.

The Wolf Pack is coming off a tremendous season in which the Pack earned its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and completed the year with an overall record of 26-8.

Alford and his staff have brought in a plethora of new talent this offseason, as Nevada aims to compete for a Mountain West Championship and secure the program's third-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
