Woman arrested after alleged kitchen knife stabbing in Star City
STAR CITY, W.Va. (WBOY) — A woman was charged in Monongalia County on Tuesday after allegedly stabbing a man with a kitchen knife.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Star City Police Department, Mykayla White, 30 of Star City, stabbed a man during an argument on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The complaint said that she stabbed the victim "through the hand with a serrated kitchen knife," and that he also "appeared to have additional injuries on his face," according to officers that responded.
Suspect allegedly shot at road work crew in Ritchie County
White has been charged with felony malicious assault in Monongalia County and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bail.
No other details about the victim's condition were given by authorities.
