WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Match Card Predictions After Bad Blood Results

- WWE/ On the heels of WWE Bad Blood, which saw rivalries end and several key returns from Raquel Rodriguez, Jimmy Uso, and The Rock, attention turns to Crown Jewel on November 4 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The latest premium live event will feature the crowning of Crown Jewel champions and the continuation of rivalries that may have long-reaching, WrestleMania implications. What matches should fans expect from the show and why? Find out with these way-too-early predictions.
- When Rhea Ripley injured Liv Morgan and forced her to the sidelines with a shoulder injury, she took months off her former friend's career and initiated the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. She also cost Raquel Rodriguez gold as she and Morgan were reigning women's tag team champs. Saturday night in Atlanta, Morgan called on her tag partner for backup and Rodriguez delivered, making her return to WWE TV for the first time since February and drawing a disqualification that allowed the heel to retain her women's world title over Mami. While the endgame remains Ripley defeating Morgan and winning the championship, the reintroduction of Rodriguez gives The Eradicator something of substance to keep her busy. At Crown Jewel, the two square off in a high-profile match that gives the creative team the option of not running back the same Ripley-Morgan contest while keeping the champion involved as ringside backup for her larger, more ferocious partner. Whether it is one-and-done for Ripley and Rodriguez remains to be seen but that seems like the most logical way to take advantage of the former's star power without booking repetitive matches.
- Jimmy Uso returned to WWE Saturday night, assisting Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in their victory over Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa in the main event of Bad Blood. What better way to capitalize on that comeback than by pairing him with the OTC against some combination of the new Bloodline at Crown Jewel? Maybe Sikoa and Fatu get their win back by pinning Jimmy or cost the two a tag title run by interfering on behalf of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Perhaps Sikoa sits back and watches a three-on-two handicap match that forces intercontinental champion Jey to come to the aid of Reigns and Uso and set in motion the plans for War Games at Survivor Series. Whatever the case may be, it is an opportunity to deliver a second, consecutive Reigns PLE match while protecting him in a tag team setting. It worked Saturday night in Atlanta and as long as the narrative is there, would be equally as successful in Riyadh.
- Bronson Reed sidelined Seth Rollins with a series of Tsunami splashes that jumpstarted a significant push for the Aussie and culminated in Monday's Last Monster Standing Match against Braun Strowman. The same match in which Rollins returned, stomped Reed's face into the steel stairs and intensified their rivalry in one fell swoop. With revenge on both of their minds, Crown Jewel is the perfect setting for them to either escalate things or bring their rivalry to an end. The question then is whether Reed is allowed to win a high-profile match or if he is simply the guy to put Rollins over and kickoff The Visionary's climb back into world title contention.
- As per Triple H's announcement that the two men's and two women's champions will compete for the newly introduced Crown Jewel Championship, it appears as though women's world champion Liv Morgan will square off with WWE women's champion Nia Jax. The idea of a battle between the two top heels in the division is certainly an interesting one but if there was a setting for that match to occur, it is the annual Saudia Arabia show. There are enough surrounding factors, including the potential for Tiffany Stratton to finally stand up to Jax and cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on her oppressor, and all of the Judgment Day shenanigans, that the match could generate a ton of heat despite the heel tendencies of both competitors. A run-in from Ripley, who has a history with both women, would not be out of the question, especially if she is still around following her proposed match with Rodriguez.
- Cody Rhodes and Gunther have a history that dates back to the 2023 Royal Rumble when The American Nightmare eliminated him to cash his ticket to WrestleMania 39. They again clashed during the 2024 Rumble but for the most part, have been kept apart since. The resumption of their rivalry in Riyadh would provide the new Crown Jewel Championship a marquee match and bona fide main event. It is also the most logical direction given the top of each card and only a month of build. Rhodes is currently entangled in the Bloodline saga but also saw one of his closest friends, Kevin Owens, brutally attack him in the parking lot after Bad Blood. He is a champion targeted by many and will now have to fend off Gunther for a title that equates to little more than bragging rights. Gunther, on the other hand, will defend his world heavyweight title against Sami Zayn on Raw in what should be a classic before likely finding himself confronted by CM Punk, who wants a shot at the gold.
