WWE's NXT Deadline coming to Minneapolis, one night after Smackdown
Minneapolis is getting a wrestling-packed weekend in December.
A night after the previously announced WWE Smackdown takes over the Target Center , the wrestling powerhouse will bring a slate of rising stars to town for its next Deadline event. The NXT Premium Live Event will take place on Dec. 7 at The Armory .
This will be the third straight year that Deadline will feature the Men's and Women's Iron Survivor Challenge, the winners of which get a crack at the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship at a later date, making it a major stepping stone for the league's ascendant talent.
Fans won't have to look far to see the proof. NXT Champion Trick Williams will be at Deadline. He took the title after winning an Iron Survivor Challenge and making the most of his shot at the crown.
The event in Minneapolis will also feature NXT North American Champion Ton D'Angelo, NXT Women's North American Champion Fallon Henley, Je'Von Evans, Kelani Jordan, Ethan Page, Lola Vice, and others.
It's part of a deluge of high-level wrestling coming to the state. In addition to Smackdown, the WWE will bring SummerSlam to Minnesota in 2026 , and a host of wrestlers are scheduled to appear at Twin Cities Comic Con this weekend, including WWE Hall of Famer Sting, and the AEW's Danhausen and Deonna Purrazzo. (Swerve Strickland was also scheduled to attend, but the convention announced he canceled the appearance on Wednesday.)
The presale for NXT begins on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. with the code "NXTLIVE." Deadline will stream live on Peacock on Dec. 7.
