Yankees legend makes ‘greatest pitch of all time’ to America after Trump’s win

Count legendary pitcher Roger Clemens among the fans of Donald Trump, the recently elected 47th president of the United States.

And the seven-time Cy Young winner even took it a step further, telling the haters to take a hike.

"Who ever said "I'm leaving America if Trump wins" ... don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out," Clemens wrote to X on Wednesday accompanied by an American flag.

Clemens won two World Series titles with the Yankees, with whom he spent six seasons of his career, including his last season in 2007 as a 44-year-old. He has 354 wins in his career, with a 3.12 ERA and 4,672 strikeouts, third all-time.

None have been better than his "strikeout' of the Democrats, apparently, with his X post generating more than 19,000 retweets and 2,400 comments, most of which were in agreement.

Clemens also tweeted early Wednesday morning , "USA! USA! 47, ... This is massive for our great country! incredible job and but I'm most proud of the people. We did it! #RedWave2024 "

No word yet on whether Clemens has been offered a role in the new Trump administration.
