24-year-old arrested in Windsor Locks after resisting arrest during traffic stop
WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was arrested on Tuesday in Windsor Locks after speeding away from police and resisting arrest, according to police.

A trooper attempted to stop the vehicle on I-91 southbound when he clocked it driving 92 mph in the area of exit 38, according to state police. The car sped away from that officer, until a different trooper was able to stop him just south of their location.
The operator of the vehicle, who was later identified as 24-year-old Myles Edwards, approached the trooper's car in an agitated state and proceeded to resist arrest. He was subsequently tased and was placed in handcuffs without further incident.
He was charged with reckless driving, disobeying signal of an officer and interfering with an officer/resisting. He was held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 3.
