31-year-old dies after being struck by vehicle in York County

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 31-year-old man has died after being struck by a car, according to the York County Coroner's Office.
The coroner's office responded to the Piedmont Medical Center Emergency Room in Rock Hill Sunday morning following a fatal crash.
The man, who was later identified as John Pollins of York, was struck by a vehicle and transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The autopsy and toxicology results are still depending. The York City Police Department is partnering with the coroner's office to investigate the crash.
No additional information has been released at this time.
