3-year-old hit by vehicle in Odenville

ODENVILLE, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A three-year-old was hit by a vehicle in Odenville, according to the Odenville Police Department.
At around 6:17 p.m., officers were called to the 17000 block of US Highway 411 on report of a vehicle incident. On arrival, they found a three-year-old male had been struck. The driver of the vehicle was still on the scene at the time of the officers' arrival.
Regional Paramedic Services and Odenville Fire Department responded to the scene and began medical care. The child was transported to Children's Hospital.
The Odenville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating the incident.
