Zendaya, Anne Hathaway And Lupita Nyong'o Have Joined Christopher Nolan's Next Movie

Christopher Nolan isn't done adding some serious star power to his next film at Universal. Sources tell Deadline that Anne Hathaway and Zendaya are set to star in his next event film. They would join previously announced cast members Matt Damon and Tom Holland

The film will have an Imax release on July 17, 2026. The date falls in line with a number of Nolan films that have had similar release dates in the past.

Not to reiterate too much from the previous blog but this is shaping up great. Tom Holland needs a win outside of the MCU and Christopher Nolan is the only director undefeated in the triple crown of audience love, critic love, and box office success. Zendaya is one of the biggest young names in Hollywood and is obviously dating Tom Holland, which just adds more juice to the pairing. Lupia Nyong'o is probably a top-5 actress in the game right now so that is a massive get. Anne Hathaway is, well, Anne Hathaway. At any rate, this is already a stellar (no inter) cast that has anyone with a working brain excited.

At this point, all I want is details. It was rumored to be a period piece espionage movie but for every new rumor that comes up, a source denies and creates a new one. I wouldn't hate a good ole spy thriller from Nolan, though.
