2 bars fail alcohol compliance check

SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Two bars failed alcohol compliance checks performed by the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office Wednesday.

According to a news release, 43 businesses were checked to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors. Out of the 43 checked, 41 passed the compliance test.
Chasers Bar of Sioux Falls and Buffalo Ridge Brewing of Hartford failed the county's compliance check.
The compliance checks are done periodically, according to the release.
The sheriff's office checked bars in Hartford, Dell Rapids, Sioux Falls, Crooks, Baltic, Colton, Humboldt, Garretson, Rowena, Renner, Valley Springs, Corson, Brandon and Sherman.
