K.Smith28 min ago
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - April 19, 1995 is a day which sets heavy in the hearts of many Oklahomans. 168 lives were lost in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City and in 162 days it will have been 30 years since the devastating Oklahoma City Bombing. In partnership with the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum every night KSWO is counting down those days by remembering those who lost their lives during the tragedy. On Day 6, we remember Miss Baylee Almon. Almon had just celebrated her first birthday a day before the terrorist attack in Oklahoma City. Her family described her as having a loving and heat-filed smile. We also honor those who survived including Shelly Bacon, Kelley S. Bailes, Maj. Ronald l. Bain U.S. Army, Quin D. Baker. We also thank those changed forever, including the American Medical Response of Colorado and the American Medical Response of Connecticut.
