2 Dead, 5 Hurt In Tuesday Night Mass Shooting: Philadelphia Police

Philadelphia Police said seven people were shot Tuesday night at Sixth Street and Allegheny Avenue, and two of those victims died.

PHILADELPHIA — Two people died and five others were hurt in a mass shooting Tuesday night in Philadelphia, according to police.

The shooting occurred at about 8:31 p.m. at Sith Street and Allegheny Avenue, police said.

Officers were called to the area for a report of gunshots and found multiple shooting victims.

Four victims were taken to Temple University Hospital, and three others walked to Temple, Episcopal, and Albert Einstein hospitals.

Two victims were pronounced dead at Temple, police said.

Officers found several firearms at the scene of the shooting, but have not made any arrests or determined a motive for the shooting.
