2 dead, multiple injured after crash in Sandoval County

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle crash. Officers were sent to the area of King Rd. and Sheba Dr. NW in Sandoval County after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

When they arrived, they found a motor vehicle crash that had caught fire. Two people died and multiple other patients were taken to area hospitals in critical condition. The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Police have not released the name of anyone involved.
