41 displaced, 1 injured in fire at Lansdowne apartment complex, Baltimore County Fire says

A fire at an apartment complex in Lansdowne injured one resident and displaced 20 adults and 21 children Sunday morning.

Around 5:46 a.m., crews from the Baltimore County Fire Department were on the scene at the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle. Upon arrival, crews found fire showing from the second floor of an apartment building with people trapped, according to the fire department's post on the social media platform X.

The department later posted at 6:19 a.m. that one resident was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At 6:39 a.m., the department sent an update that the fire had been placed under control and confirmed that no fire personnel were injured.

A cause of the fire and the extent of damages caused to the complex has not been disclosed by fire officials.

The 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle is home to Lakeside Homes at Holiday Heights and Circle Terrace apartment complexes, though the latter only has one story.
