26 ejected, 9 arrested during Badgers game against Purdue, UW police say

UW-Madison police reported that 26 people were ejected from Camp Randall Stadium and nine people were arrested during Saturday's football game between the Badgers and Purdue.

Of the 26 people ejected, seven were UW students, and of the nine people arrested, five were UW students, police said in a statement detailing the numbers.

UW police also issued nine tickets, five to UW students.

Those ticketed and ejected included seven for underage drinking and two for throwing objects.

Those ejected without being ticketed included six for tobacco use, five for being disorderly, four for intoxication, and two for possession of unauthorized alcohol.

One person contacted by police had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20% or higher.
