Whether they be dedicated to scarecrows or harvests, Fall's arrival Sunday showcases the season with events in Bucks County this weekend that will feature pumpkins, food trucks, and something we all could use: A little peace.

The weather should be wonderful and Bucks County should be starting to show its foliage too!

You can't go wrong this weekend choosing a festival, whether it is food in Falls and Doylestown townships, checking out arts and crafts near the Delaware River in New Hope, browsing the vendors in Yardley, or seeing the scarecrow display at Peddler's Village.

Peddler's Village has launched this year's "Scarecrow Season" with Scarecrows in the Village, a display of more than 100 handmade creations; a Scarecrow Festival, and scarecrow-making workshops that begin during the festival and continue on Sept. 21 and 28. ( Read More )

Harvest Day Celebration Saturday In Yardley

They are pretending like last year's Harvest Festival didn't happen. Because it didn't. For the first time in its history, Harvest Day got washed out by weather last year. Not even the rain date could save the annual event from getting canceled by inclement weather. But with the forecast looking promising Saturday, the 55th annual Harvest Day festival will resume its reputation as the borough's biggest event. ( Read More )

Celebration Of Peace This Weekend At Buckingham Friends

LAHASKA, PA — The 24th Annual Bucks County Peace Fair unfolds on the grounds of the historic Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse in Lahaska on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sponsored by Bucks County Quakers, the fair will showcase local organizations dedicated to peace, social justice, care of the environment, healthy living, and other causes of interest to area residents. More than 160 juried fine artists and craftspeople will descend on New Hope over the weekend for the 30th Annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival presented by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce. Food Truck Festival Rolls Into Doylestown's Central Park

A banquet of food trucks will roll into Doylestown Township on Sunday, September 22 for the township's annual Fall Food Truck Fest. The event takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. at Central Park. Admission is free and reservations are not required. Featured will be 18 food trucks, Warwick Farm Brewing, and fun for the whole family. Falls Township's Food Truck Festival and Touch a Truck/Family Festival is offering plenty of fun, food, and fundraising on Saturday.
