However, NFL analysts have given a brutal reality check to the Chiefs as they chase that record.

In the new episode of the podcast "The Odd Couple", NFL analyst Rob Parker has voiced concern over the Chiefs' current record. The sportscaster mentioned that even though this 8-0 record is quite impressive, there have been several points this season during the game where the Chiefs looked all but gone until they turned things around in the end. He said, "Football is not a series so you could lose one game and all of it, anybody can."

He didn't stop at that. Parker gave two examples to prove his point. He mentioned the last year's AFC championship game where the Chiefs didn't score any points in the second half but ultimately won the game in the end. And their loss against the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium, where Mahomes' late interception led to a field goal that cost them dearly.

For the sportscaster, although the Chiefs have won back-to-back Super Bowls in two seasons and are eyeing the third, they haven't been dominating and convincing. He said, "They don't feel like even though they've won two in a row the last year was another year they didn't feel like they were that dominant to me they won when they needed to when they got in the playoffs but it was a rocky uneven year".

Although the Chiefs have been enjoying quite a strong run, Parker, in the end, has warned the team that "they can be beaten, they haven't been yet but they can surely be beaten". Now the Chiefs are set to host the Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead on Monday. It needs to be seen now if Bo Nix and Co. can put an end to the Chiefs' invincible run so far this season or will HC Reid and the team prove Parker wrong and move forward towards becoming the invincible team this season?
