2 job fairs in Chicago Thursday

CHICAGO — Two job fairs will take place in Chicago Thursday.

The Chicago Veterans Job Fair for veterans and their families is taking place at Soldier Field from11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Over 60 companies will offer employment opportunities and actively hire veterans. Recruit Military is hosting the job fair to help make an impact in the lives of those who have served. Registration is free and available online to all transitioning military, veterans, military spouses and dependents.

Chicago's 49th Ward is also hosting a job fair.

It's taking place at Willye B. White Park Fieldhouse at 1610 W Howard St. from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Mental health care organization Trilogy' is recruiting for jobs – such as recovery counselors, residential staff, nurses and operations. Agencies will attend to provide information about SNAP benefits, utilities help and record expungement. More information at:
