3 killed in Escambia County crash: FHP

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an early-morning crash at the intersection of Clearwater Avenue and West Michigan Avenue in Pensacola that killed three people, according to a press release.

A 42-year-old Pensacola woman, a 22-year-old Pensacola male motorcyclist, and a 24-year-old Pace male motorcyclist died in a three-vehicle crash on West Michigan Avenue/State Road 296 around 12:06 a.m. Friday, according to the report.

State police say the Pensacola woman turned left from Clearwater Avenue onto West Michigan Avenue. The two motorcyclists driving southbound struck the left side of the vehicle.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died from her injuries.

The two male motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
