2 local officers to be honored in ceremony at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

(WKBN) – Two local officers will be recognized during a U.S. Marshals's ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland next week.

Boardman Police Sergeant Glen Riddle and Deputy Eric Buday of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office will be recognized by the United States Marshals Service for the Northern District of Ohio.

Riddle will be awarded the Wayne Leon Task Force Officer of the Year award, along with six other team nominees.

Buday will be awarded the Susan Graves Part-Time Officer of the Year, along with six other nominees.

Other awards will be given out at the event such as Operational Employee of the Year, Court Security Officer of the Year and Citizen of the Year.

The keynote speaker for the event is Chris Hansen, an Emmy award-winning TV host and journalist known for his work on Dateline NBC, To Catch a Predator and TruBlu streaming services.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 25. at 1 p.m.
