FWPD: Drivers asked to avoid area of S Anthony Blvd. following crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Leaders with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) sent a Public Safety Alert on Friday afternoon, asking drivers to avoid an area east of downtown as crews respond to a crash. Police say the crash happened around 4:14 p.m. at the intersection of S Anthony Blvd. and Maumee Avenue. The intersection is blocked at this time as crews work to clear the scene.
