2024 Savannah Jazz Festival kicks off

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The 43rd Savannah Jazz Festival is underway.

Now through the weekend, jazz lovers can enjoy a series of events around the Hostess City — some of which are free.

Musicians kicked things off Wednesday at Ships of the Maritime Museum with Latin Dance night.

The festival continues Thursday evening with Blues Night at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts.

Free shows will be held on Friday and Saturday in Forsyth Park.

Another free show will be held on Sunday at District Live.
