There are a few major returns in the world of TV this week, and a couple of noteworthy finales.

"Yellowstone," Taylor Sheridan's megahit, is finally returning for the remainder of its fifth season after behind-the-scenes drama derailed production on the maybe-final episodes of the series. "Arcane," one of Netflix's biggest animated series ever, is also back.

"Disclaimer," the mystery-thriller from Oscar winner Alfonso Cuaron, wraps up this week, as does the HBO series "The Penguin."

For a dramedy, watch "My Old Ass."

A teen (newcomer Maisy Stella) takes mushrooms and comes face to face with her older self (played by Aubrey Plaza), who issues some warnings and imparts some perspective, in this straight-to-streaming comedy.

Time to say farewell to Cristin Milioti's Sofia Falcone, one of the most magnetic TV characters of the year. "The Penguin" wraps up this week, putting a pin in the story of Colin Farrell's Oz Cobb ahead of his return in "The Batman 2."

After literal years of waiting, "Yellowstone" finally returns. Taylor Sheridan's smash hit series returns for the back half of its fifth season, which may or may not be the end of its run (and also may or may not feature Kevin Costner's John Dutton ).

The visually stunning animated series, based Riot Games' wildly popular game "League of Legends," returns for its second and final season. The first batch of episodes is out on Saturday, with additional releases in upcoming weeks.

For something light, watch "Meet Me Next Christmas."

If your current vibe is "mindless holiday joy," you're in luck: Netflix has begun rolling out its slate of holiday movies. This one stars Christina Milian as a woman who has a chance encounter with a handsome stranger and agrees to meet him the following year at Pentatonix's sold-out Christmas concert. (Why is Pentatonix part of this? Who knows, just roll with it.)
