COLUMBUS, Ohio - Former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud has quickly become a rising star in the NFL and has an important metric supporting it.

Stroud has followed up what was a historic rookie season with the Houston Texans and hasn't had much of a drop off in Year 2. It's to him becoming a fan favorite to the point that he now has the NFL's best-selling jersey so far this season. Sales are recorded from the beginning of April until the end of October.

He's joined by a bevy of other players who fit into the category of 25 and younger and are considered to be the future faces of the league. What's help with the uptick in sales for him is the Texans debuting new jerseys this season.

Stroud played for the Buckeyes from 2020-22, spending two years as a starter. He ended his career second all-time in career passing yards (8,123) and touchdowns (85).
