A pickleball club, coffee shop and beauty chain are now open in Milwaukee's north suburbs

Ulta Beauty, a pickleball club and a coffee shop inside of a library are three new businesses that have opened in Milwaukee's northern suburbs in September.

Here's more about these businesses — two that opened in West Bend and one in Menomonee Falls.

West Bend's Vortex Pickleball Club opened Sept. 6

Vortex Pickleball Club, at 1285 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend, opened Sept. 6 in the former Boston Store building. Vortex Pickleball Club is in the back third of the building while Dunham's Sports is in the other part of the space.

The club offers league play, lessons, court reservations and tournaments with a focus on people of all ages enjoying the sport.

Vortex Pickleball Club is a membership club with different options listed on its website. However, the club does offer free options for pickleball. Those options are announced on its website and its Facebook page.

People who have a membership have access to the club 24/7.

Ulta Beauty in West Bend opens on South Main Street

Ulta Beauty, a cosmetic and beauty product chain, opened its West Bend location on Sept. 13 at 1670 S. Main St.

Ulta Beauty offers in-store shopping and in-store and curbside pickup.

According to the Ulta Beauty West Bend website , this location offers makeup, hair and brow services.

Its hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Latitude Café inside of the Menomonee Falls Library opened Sept. 6

A Germantown-based coffee shop, Latitude Café, opened inside of the Menomonee Falls Public Library on Sept. 6.

Latitude Café is on the second floor of the library in the library's former snack room. The library is at W156N8436 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls.

Menu items for Latitude Café include an acai bowl, a bacon panini and grilled cheese. Drinks will include flavored coffee, cappuccinos, cold brews and a spiced cake mocha. There are also non-coffee drinks such as a chai latte, Italian soda, steamers and a fruit smoothie.

Latitude Café is a locally-owned coffee shop that has been in Germantown, at W156 N9636 Pilgrim Road, since 2003.

Latitude Café's hours, inside the Menomonee Falls library, are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
