Dine and Drink : Radio Flyer Pilots at Parkside Lounge

If Sunday night is looking a little boring, how about music, food and volleyball? Parkside Lounge is hosting the Radio Flyer Pilots, a local cover band that will be jamming out on the patio from 5 to 8 p.m.

On a Date : Steamwheelers host Sioux Falls Storm

This Saturday at 7 p.m. the Quad City Steamwheelers are celebrating fan appreciation night with $1 beers. Take a special someone to watch the Steamwheelers battle the Sioux Falls Storm at Vibrant Arena at the MARK located at 1201 River Dr., Moline.

The Tyson Foods Party Cove will be open to General Admission and 1,000 drawstring bags will be given away courtesy of Midwest Bath.

Come dressed in your best red, white and blue outfit to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds this Saturday for a chance to win a $10 bingo certificate at the Firecracker Bingo Special. Since so many will be taking a little extra vacation time this Friday, Davenport Parks and Recreation is extending an invitation to the city's largest picnic. Vander Veer Botanical Park is a beautiful site, located at 223 W. Central Park Ave. in Davenport. The picnic is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

Bring the food, the blanket and the family to this communal picnic and enjoy nature in the center of Davenport. This is an all ages and free event to attend.
