YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Ada Iris Aponte 42, transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday November 6, 2024, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Ada was born July 8, 1982 in Youngstown, Ohio. Daughter to Evette Aponte and Davis Oracio.

She attended Roosevelt Elementary, Adam's Jr. High & Campbell Memorial High School. Ada's last place of employment was Manager at Citi Trends.

Ada was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, spouse, sister, aunt, cousin and an overall amazing human being. She was a woman who could do it all, truly a jack of all trades. She was known for having a heart of gold, helping anyone in any way she could no matter who you were. She embodied love in its purest form. Ada was the light in any room she walked in; her laughter, jokes, kindness, big hugs and genuine spirit touched everyone she met. Whether it was through her words, her selfless actions or her strength Ada was resilient. She made an impact on all who were lucky enough to know her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Raheem Johnson, Fantasia Aponte, Elias Brown, Savon Aponte (Nephew); her parents , Evette Aponte, Ada Aponte, Davis Oracio; her fiancé, Eric Brown; her siblings, Marina Aponte , Jasmine Aponte, Jessica Oracio, Tiburcio Cruz, Elias Cruz, Davis Oracio Jr, Jonathan Oracio, Michael Cruz & Angelo Black. She also leaves behind six granddaughters, three grandsons, many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her children Rawsheem Aponte, Marquis Whitted and Falicity Whitted.

There will be a visitation with the family from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Grace Evangelistic Temple and the service will start properly at 11:00 a.m.
