After missing turn, jackknifed truck leaks gas on Riverview Road: Brecksville Police Blotter

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio

Property damage, Riverview Road: On Oct. 1, police and fire were dispatched to a Riverview Road address regarding a semi-truck, leaking fluid, stuck on a curved incline.

The Cleveland driver was behind the wheel of a FedEx truck headed to the Richfield location but missed his turn and was attempting to turnaround on Snowville Road when the truck jackknifed.

The maneuver punctured the fuel tank with the semi becoming disabled on Riverview Road.

The leaking fluid was gas, which the driver didn't know about.

Hazmat was called out to clean-up the leaking gas.

The driver was cited for no through trucks and loads dropping or leaking.
