While the obstacle course is a muddy mess, event organizers insist it is tons of fun and all for a good cause.

"We serve over 3,000 youth in Washington County," Rae Tucker with Girls Inc., said. "We equip them with the tools they need to succeed."

The Mud Run is an all-morning activity at the Washington County Agricultural Center on Route 65.

Entry fees are $100 for adults and $50 for children 10 and under.
