Annual Muscatine County Fair meeting to be held next Tuesday

The annual Muscatine County Fair meeting will be held next week in the evening.

County Fair Manager Kelsey Meyers will host the annual meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the activity center. A supper, free will donation and silent auction will take place before the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

There will be several silent auction baskets, according to a news release from the Muscatine County Fair Board.

The Fair Manager, Meyers will present an overview of the 2024 Fair and her outlook for 2025 and beyond. There will also be an update on the new event center. The board of directors will also be elected during the meeting.

Anyone who purchased a fun pass to the 2024 Muscatine County Fair is eligible to fill out a membership form to the Muscatine County Fair which gives them a vote at the annual meeting.

The annual meeting is open to the public and all persons are urged to attend as the meeting provides an opportunity to learn more of the operation of the county fair and ideas for the upcoming fair.
