"Getting to see everybody enjoying this event is so worthwhile you don't always think entertainment venue when you think gardening but these are pumpkins they're agricultural commodities we gardeners grow them. So getting to see people enjoy that and come out and look for their own pumpkins from the community groups that have carved them it's so much fun," said Lisa Rand, master gardener coordination of Erie.

The Pumpkin Walk was presented by the Penn State Extension Master Gardners of Erie County.

Rand said this event is the major fundraiser to provide horticultural education.
