APD: Fatal crash closes westbound traffic in NE Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police responded to reports of a crash shortly after 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in the area of Candelaria Road and San Mateo Boulevard. Witnesses say a vehicle crashed into a motorcyclist.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. Police say westbound Candelaria has been shut down while officers investigate the crash. KRQE will report further information once it becomes available.
