MOLD CLOSES SCHOOLS — A central Pennsylvania high school could remain closed for three weeks because of mold, though district officials are hopeful that two other schools will open sometime this week.

MISSING TWINS — The brother of Pennsylvania twins whom welfare caseworkers haven’t been able to locate for 10 years is scheduled for a preliminary hearing.

— A fire that engulfed a west Philadelphia church has been brought under control, and no injuries have been reported.

— An eastern Pennsylvania man remains hospitalized two days after police say he yelled at police to shoot him and wouldn’t surrender peacefully after he allegedly set fire to a car.

— The owner of a practice rink formerly used by the Pittsburgh Penguins is facing a federal trial on charges he dodged paying more than $1 million in payroll taxes by moving the money through a shell company.

— Police say a neighbor used a golf club to stop and disarm a shotgun-wielding suspect after a home invasion in central Pennsylvania.

— Police have continued to search for the driver of a sport-utility vehicle who fled after fatally striking a bicyclist in northeastern Pennsylvania.

— Three teenage boys are recovering in hospitals after they were shot in Philadelphia’s Grays Ferry section.
