Applications Available For Fine Arts Fiesta

Applications are being accepted for Fiesta 2000, said Joel Zitofsky and
Tish Last, co-chairpersons of the Artists’ Market at the Fine Arts Fiesta. All
interested artists or crafts people 18 years of age or older may apply.

The Fine Arts Fiesta, celebrating its 45th anniversary, will be May 18
through May 21 on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. More than 100,000 people
typically attend the four-day event, which is the oldest full-scale arts
festival in Pennsylvania.
The Fiesta has historically attracted local artists as well as crafts
people from around the country. It has presented a varied collection of media,
including handcrafted jewelry, wearable fibers, original artwork and
photography.

All work must be of the artist’s original design. Jurors and the Fine Arts
Fiesta board of directors reserve the right to determine the eligibility of
all objects submitted.
