Kindred remains No. 1 in the latest North Dakota Class A football poll.

New Rockford-Sheyenne-Maddock edged LaMoure-Litchville-Marion in the final nine-man poll of the season.

The Vikings (8-0) remain the unanimous No. 1 in A, with the top five teams unchanged from last week. Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison (6-1) is second, followed by Killdeer (8-0), Central Cass (7-1) and Ellendale-Edgeley-Kulm (7-1).

The Rockets (8-0) got six first-place votes and finished with 84 points in the nine-man balloting. The Loboes (8-0), who were No. 1 most of the season before sharing the top spot with NRS last week, got eight first-place votes and totaled 80 points.

No. 3 Westhope-Newburg-Glenburn (8-0) got one first-place vote.

Linton-HMB (8-0) remained at No. 4, with North Border (8-0) moves into the fifth spot.

The polls are conducted by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

The University of Mary hockey team remains at No. 8 in this week's ACHA men's Division I hockey rankings.

The Marauders (7-2-0) have been eighth in the first two regular-season polls.

U-Mary is 6-2-0 against ACHA Division I teams and 4-2-0 against nationally-ranked teams, sweeping series against No. 25 Iowa State and No. 18 Illinois State while losing single games to No. 3 Minot State and No. 6 Jamestown.

The Marauders visit No. 19 Missouri State this weekend, meaning eight of U-Mary's first 10 games will come against ranked teams.
