Arrest warrants issued for several people connected to alleged prostitution ring in Pflugerville
PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Arrests warrants were issued for several people in connection with an alleged prostitution ring that was located at an apartment complex in Pflugerville, according to court documents obtained by KXAN.
Investigators received a tip on Sept. 19, 2023, about the alleged prostitution ring connected to online advertisements, court documents said.
Online ads were placed on three websites "used for prostitution services," in which customers were ultimately directed to the apartment complex for sex, according to court documents. There were nearly 350 ads placed, and thousands of suspicious transactions "related to human trafficking or prostitution" were found from Jan. 1, 2022 to Sept. 25, 2023, according to court documents.
During the investigation, around 45 different women were "associated" with the "sex services" in an "organized group over a period of approximately three and a half years," court records said.
Online court records did not show whether any of those involved have been arrested. We will update this if that changes.
