Artists decking the halls in downtown Midland

MIDLAND, Mich. (WNEM) - Downtown Midland has been getting in the Christmas spirit this week with the help of the Brush Monkeys. Since Tuesday, the Ann Arbor-based artists have been painting holiday and winter scenes on the windows of more than two dozen businesses. Artist Narooz Soliman of said there are three things he loves about the job. "The first is just being good at it, right?" Soliman said. "I'd much rather have a job, no matter what it is, that I'm good at than I'm just not good at, ya know? The second one is liking doing it. The third one is people giving you free coffee all day long." According to the city of Midland, the Brush Monkeys will wrap up their project downtown on Saturday.
