At least three injured after a two-car accident in Summit Township

At least three people are injured in a two-car accident in Summit Township Tuesday afternoon.

That accident happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Perry Highway and Townhall Road.

First responders were called to the scene after reports of possible entrapment.

According to reports from the scene, at least three people were transported to the hospital via ambulance with unknown injuries.

Traffic was diverted away from the scene as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

There is no word on what caused the accident. State police continue to investigate.
